About FISH FFS

My name is Jake Arlt. I was raised in Minnesota but now call South Dakota home.  During my college years, I relocated to the Prairie Pothole Region in South Dakota. An experience that completely transformed my approach to fishing.

Having grown up chasing walleyes and bass close to home, I quickly discovered an entirely new level of angling in these waters.  As forward-facing sonar technology evolved, I began to recognize its true potential. Finding a true calling in the tournament walleye world, it's all about finding a way to get the upper hand. With each passing year, advancements brought clearer images, larger displays, and a more immersive fishing experience. Keeping up with the times is crucial in order to compete at the highest levels. 

That evolution sparked a simple idea: why settle for less when you can see more? Bigger screens mean less strain, better visibility, and ultimately, more success on the water.
